Green tea and licorice root extracts are potent antioxidants and skin-soothing ingredients that provide many benefits for the skin, including anti-aging properties. Applied topically, resveratrol helps protect skin’s surface, interrupts and helps rebuff negative environmental influences, and brightens a tired-looking complexion. It also has significant skin-calming properties that may help minimize the look of redness. Together, these botanicals work to enrich, soothe and replenish your exposed skin.
We are adamant that anything applied directly to the skin should be natural.
That’s why Larkly does not contain any parabens, PABA or phthalates.
Once you’ve got your brush ready, applying Larkly is a breeze.
The brush-on approach makes it easy to reach traditionally hard-to-reach areas like the scalp, hairline, and eyelids, while the big, soft brush makes it an experience that feels good on the skin. To make it even easier, tilt your face up slightly, and apply slight pressure with the brush and dust in a circular motion. Once you’ve covered everywhere you’d like, you’re good to go.
That simple? Yep! We started the brand because our founder’s four kids never wanted to wear sunscreen. Now, they do it without asking. Every day. Sunscreen never felt so good.
Larkly is both water and sweat-resistant.
We recommend reapplying after 30-40 minutes of swimming or sweating, or immediately after towel drying. It’s best applied on dry skin, and unlike traditional sunscreen, Larkly doesn’t take any time to absorb and won’t drip down your face or sting your eyes! It’s also great on the beach when you’re a little sandy and don’t want to rub abrasive lotion on.
We designed Larkly to have a seamless reapplication process.
Staying protected is all about reapplication! recommend reapplying Larkly should be reapplied after 30-40 minutes of swimming or sweating, immediately after towel drying, or at least every 2 hours.
To refill your Larkly, simply screw the powder chamber off of your brush, screw your refill chamber onto the bottom of your brush, and gently twist the new chamber into your Larkly brush until it’s secure.
Once set, you’re good to keep using Larkly - no new brush required!
When fully applied, Larkly has a translucent matte finish, providing a light coat that has the look of a subtle foundation or setting powder.
Larkly’s hypoallergenic, non pore clogging natural minerals are translucent and since they sit on top of the skin’s surface, there is no risk of smudging, running or greasy residue. Unless you’re looking for it, it’s barely noticeable! We designed Larkly to barely be noticeable. Otherwise, no one would want to mess with it! Larkly is completely translucent once applied. There is no coloration, no risk of smudging, running, and best of all, no greasy residue.
Larkly is housed in a self-dispensing brush.
The powder flows through the brush and out the head of the brush. When you receive the brush it will be in the “close” position. The Larkly brush was designed to be big, soft, and effortlessly dispense our trademark SPF 30 powder.
To use it, remove the top cap, and twist the brush lip down to uncover the brush head. You’ll notice the brush fans out, which signals it’s “open” and ready for use. Brush a little onto your hand until you see minerals in the brush head to make sure that the powder is flowing, then apply liberally to face, ears, neck, chest and hands.
Once you’re done, twist the brush lip back up to the “close” position and place the lid back on. When done properly, you should hear a click that signals the brush is closed and you’re good to go! If you skip the last step, it can lead to your brush blocking the lid from fully closing, so make sure to always twist the dispenser closed before placing the lid on to keep making the most of your Larkly!
Your Larkly comes with a brush applicator and a full powder chamber, which should last you a full season (over 3 months!) with multiple daily uses.
If you are reapplying generously due to outdoor activity, you may use the product more quickly. Larkly is refillable, so once you use up the minerals in your Larkly Suncare brush, you won’t have to purchase a new brush. We’ve added some demos below to help make your new sunscreen habits as seamless as possible!
Note that even when filled, we’ve intentionally left a bit of space in the powder chamber to make sure that the brush dispenses smoothly. Check out our shop for more specifics on each product!
The brush head may be cleaned with a brush cleaner, soap or shampoo.
Clean with brush cleaner by spraying each side of brush with makeup brush cleaner (2-4 sprays). Gently tissue off residue and let air dry. To clean with soap or shampoo remove powder cartridge by hold the top of the brush with one hand and the bottom of the brush with the other. Twist the bottom cartridge to the left until it unscrews. Attach the lid to the bottom cartridge and set it aside. Hold brush sideways under running water. Keeping the brush horizontal, apply a small amount of shampoo or gentle soap onto the brush and rub with your fingers. Rinse horizontally under running water. Squeeze the brush to remove excess water. Allow to dry.
Once thoroughly dry, screw the bottom powder cartridge back on, and you’re good to go!
While Larkly was designed to provide quick and easy sun protection for the face, neck, arms and hands, it can be used on all body parts that are exposed to the sun or that require fast and easy sun protection.

Larkly is all-natural and safe around the eyes. Thanks to our gentle brush applicator, it is simple to apply liberally to all of those hard-to-reach areas around the face and ears—even on those little ones that can’t stand still.
